Mary Beth Waggoner RSS
Mary Beth Waggoner holds a Master’s Degree in School Counseling from Jacksonville State University. She is a proud Chattooga alumnus and feels truly blessed to work in the school system in which she received her formal learning.  In 2006, Mary Beth was given an opportunity to work on the staff at Menlo Elementary School as a middle grades science teacher. She moved into her role as School Counselor in 2012 at both Menlo and Lyerly Elementary schools.  During the 2013/2014 school year Mary Beth was the counselor at Long Branch Elementary School in Dahlonega, GA.

Mary Beth is married to Brad Waggoner who is the Assistant Director of Player Personnel for Georgia Tech football.  They have one son Brad, Jr. who is 4. 

The counseling program at both Menlo and Lyerly consists of individual, small group, and classroom guidance. The program is designed to address each student’s personal, social, career, and academic development. As the counselor, Mary Beth is available as part of a team working with parents, school staff, and community resources to help make school a caring and supportive place for students.  In addition she strives to help all students achieve their goals and be successful in the future.   Please contact her at any time with requests for you or your children.
